Gloria (Ferullo) Sama, formerly of Watertown, passed away on April 21, 2021 after a short illness. She was 89 years old. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Sama. Loving mother of Lisa Sama of Westford and Judy Sama of Framingham. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Alessandra Forcucci, Andrew Gramigna, Matthew Gramigna and Anastasia Forcucci, and is survived by Lisa's husband John Forcucci of Westford, Judy's partner Eric Peltonen of Framingham, and former son-in- law Gary Gramigna. Born in the North End across the street from the Paul Revere House, Gloria was the first person in her immediate family born in the United States. She was predeceased by her sisters Teresa and Melinda, and brothers Anthony and Giovanni. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. While living in Watertown, Gloria was an active member of Saint Patrick Church and a Eucharistic Minister in the community. Donations in her memory can be made to Saint Patrick Church in Watertown. Family and friends are welcome to Celebrate Gloria's Life with a Funeral Mass on Saturday, June 19 at 12 Noon in St. Patrick's Church. Lisa and Judy,
Our deepest sympathy over the loss of your mother. We were great friends at Rosary Academy and had many, many laughs. So sorry we can’t be there to celebrate her life, one that truly was of giving and unselfishness. Her kindness to us will always be remembered.
