Leopold "Tom" G. Leveillee 94 peacefully passed away in his sleep surrounded by his family on May 10, 2021 at his home after a period of declining health. He was married for 65 years to the late Barbara H. (Howard) Leveillee who died in 2016. He was born in Three Rivers MA to the late Leopold and Florida (LaBelle) Leveillee. He is survived by his 4 sons, Charles and his dear companion Linda Lyrist of Marlborough/Milford, John and his wife Terri of Templeton, Thomas of Long Beach, CA, William The Legend of Marlborough; a daughter Joanne Hayes and her husband Dallas of Worcester; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and several nieces. He leaves a sister-in-law, Charlotte Eberhard of Dunnellon, FL. Tom was a member of the Immaculate Conception Parish since moving to Marlborough in 1964. He graduated from American International College of Springfield, MA. He was employed for many years by GTE Sylvania as a Senior Financial Analyst and retired in 1990. Tom and Barbara enjoyed many summer vacations on Cape Cod. They took trips to Paris, Bermuda, Washington DC, Florida, and California. They took cruises to the Panama Canal and the Mississippi River. He enjoyed reading books, doing the daily cross word puzzle with Barbara and was an avid New England sports fan. Earlier in life they enjoyed dining and dancing. Later, they enjoyed going to local restaurants for their daily breakfast. During Toms recent period of declining health, he remained home with care provided by family members who were greatly assisted by Kindred Hospice. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 9 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St., Marlborough, MA. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson St. Marlborough. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 13 from 5-7 p.m. in the Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main St., Marlborough, MA. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest making memorial donations in Toms name to the National Kidney Foundation at kidney.org or a charity of ones choice.
