Joseph C. Belforti, of Wellesley, passed away on April 27th, 2021. Beloved son of the late Joseph C. and Eva (Preservati) Belforti. Loving brother of the late Jane L. Belforti and the late John R. Belforti. Joe grew up in Framingham. He attended various prestigious schools, Marian High School, West Andover Academy and University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He excelled in baseball, football and basketball. He was a member of the Natick Lions Club and the Italo American Club of Wellesley. Joe was an avid Atlanta Braves Fan. Most of all, Joe was an inspiration to many by rising above his challenging illness. Funeral services will be held for Joseph, as well as his late sister Jane Belforti, who passed away on January 6, 2021. The services are as follows. A visitation will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St., Wellesley on May 5th from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Paul's Church, Wellesley at 11a.m. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Framingham Heart Study, 73 Mt. Wayte Ave., Framingham, MA. 01701. Arrangements by George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, Wellesley.

Joe and I were classmates at Marian High and friends on Facebook. So sorry to hear of his passing today. May his soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed rest in peace, Amen.
