Patricia McNeil

1937 - 2015

PLYMOUTH Patricia (Brady) McNeil, age 78, died at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth on Oct. 3, 2015. She was the devoted wife of the late Dexter G. McNeil. Born on March 19, 1937, Patricia was the beloved daughter of the late Edward J. and Elizabeth C. (Blanchard) Brady. She was educated and was a graduate of Plymouth-Carver High School, Class of 1955, receiving her bachelors degree from Brown University and her doctorate from Bridgewater State College. For many years she taught at Silver Lake Regional Middle School until retiring in 1997. A lifelong Plymouth resident, Pat had enjoyed her membership at the Plymouth Yacht Club for over 70 years. She was an avid golfer, skier, sailor, and tennis player. She loved spending time at the ocean as well as traveling throughout the world. Pat was the loving mother of Heather McNeil and her wife Tia Ottani, with whom she made her home. She was also the cherished sister of Tim Brady, Sr. and his wife Polly of Plymouth.
