Uncle George in Maine in 2008. I saw Pam on the beach and she brought my family to see him. It was great to catch up.

I have wonderful memories of George. I was a guitar student for many years. He always had lots of patience with me. He would always begin a lesson by offering a "Zotz" candy. He saw me through several musical levels and was always up to the task of teaching me through them. Most lessons would end with him playing "Malaguena" at my request. Rest in Peace Mr. Hlasny.

My prayers and thoughts are with you at this difficult time. It was my honor and privilege to see Mr. Hlasny every Monday at lunch time with my son. We looked forward to each week and to seeing him and listening to his wonderful stories. He will truly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with your families at this time. Sincerely, Jim and Josh
