Wonderful person, gentle, smart, great sense of humor. I have a photo of Ellen and Ken taken at Sandy Smith annual RISD alumni get together. Great memories, she is still with us.

Ellen and I were in the same art class through out high school. I came to know her through the time spent together in class.
Many years later by chance I happened to find a book she had created with her mother in my local library. The second I saw the illustrations, I knew that they were Ellen's.
I always looked forward to seeing her in art class. I want to extend my condolences to her family and friends.
Her art and smile were a wonderful inspiration to me and will always remain that way.

She always had a smile ready for the world, and w are poorer for her absence. I know she's still smiling somewhere, and making that place better now.
