Barry K. Sullivan

Barry K. Sullivan of Hanover, died July 14, 2015, at his home, after a long illness with heart disease. Barry was a graduate of Cambridge High and Latin School and American University in Washington, D.C., as a undergraduate, studied in Spain. An avid reader, Barry was a lover of animals and also enjoyed travel. Barry was a Spanish teacher for many years in the Cambridge Public School System. He will be dearly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. The family would like to thank the staff at both Beth Israel Hospital Coronary Care Unit in Boston and South Shore Hospice for the wonderful care extended to him. He was the beloved husband of Michael P. OSullivan of Hanover; loving brother of John Sullivan and his wife Janet of Pembroke, Mark Sullivan and his wife Cheryl of Falmouth and the late Kevin Sullivan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours FridayJuly 17, 4-8 p.m. in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, at 809 Main Street (Rte. 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital), South Weymouth. Relatives and friends gathered in the funeral home at 7:45 a.m. Saturday prior to the funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, Hanover, at 9 a.m. Cremation followed.
