Elizabeth Ruble Obituary

Elizabeth M. (Umbrianna) Ruble, 85 of Rockland died on March 28, 2010 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital after a period of failing health. She was born in Rockland, daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Tedeschi) Umbrianna and was raised and educated there. She was a lifelong resident of the town. Mrs. Ruble was dedicated to her family and enjoyed cooking, knitting and sewing as well as an occasional game of bingo. Wife of the late Leon Ruble, she is survived by her children, Thomas E. Ruble of Abington and Linda A. Manning of Rockland. She was the sister of Peter Umbrianna of Halifax, Vincent Umbrianna of PA, Pippie Pattion of E. Bridgewater and the late Angelo Umbrianna, Angie Cerce, Rose Florio, Dorothy Genest, Lena Pratt, Anna DelPrete and Mary Arrentino. She was also the dear friend of the late Fred Woody Metcalf. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A funeral was held on Thursday, April 1 from the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St., ROCKLAND. Dear Linda and family,
My deepest sympathy to eveyone in the lost of beloved Betty. I will never forget having sleepovers with Nicole and all the good times we all had. I will never forget her and I will forever miss her.

Dear Linda, Tommy and families:

May God bless you and your families at this time of sorrow and grief. We know what your going through and its never easy, but remember all the good times together. Know that she is in a better place and she's no longer in pain. She is with her Mom and Dad and brothers and sisters, and we will all meet them again some day. Love to you all. Aunt Avis, Norma, Winnie, Gloria, Barb, Bev and families.
