James P. McNulty

James P. McNulty of Abington, formerly of Quincy, passed away Oct. 27, 2012. Beloved husband of Despina (Kyranis) McNulty of Abington, he was the loving father of Kristina E. McNulty of Abington; cherished son of Dennis J. McNulty and Susan (Priday) McNulty of Quincy; brother of Paul R. McNulty and his wife Nancy of Quincy; son-in-law of Vasilios and Anthea Kyranis of Holbrook; brother-in-law of Theodora Parsons of Weymouth and Evangelos Kyranis and his wife Jill of Quincy; uncle of Nicole Parsons, Sophia and Zoe Kyranis and Brian McNulty. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. James was passionate about his work and his family was extremely proud of the business he built, McNulty Construction. He was up early with a smile and enjoyed every minute of the day. His family gave him the most enjoyment, especially from his daughter Kristina. An outdoorsman, James loved photography and gardening. He had a special group of friends that he remained close with. James was generous, caring, loved children and had a great sense of humor. Visiting hours were held Nov. 1, 4-8 p.m. in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy. A celebration of life service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 a.m., Friday, Nov. 2, prior to the funeral Mass in St. Anns Church, Quincy, at 10 a.m. Cremation will follow.
