Dolores R. Macasay

Dolores R. (Hellerman) Macasay, 87 years old, a longtime resident of Framingham, died on December 4, 2017 at Golden Pond Assisted Living Community in Hopkinton, after a brief battle with cancer. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 6, 1930 the daughter of the late Charles and Marian (Goran) Hellerman. Dolores leaves behind her beloved husband of 67, years, Arthur Macasay. She was the mother of Ellen Stoppel and her husband Paul Stoppel of Wayland. Sister of Barbara Cymrot and her husband Allen Cymrot of Mountain View, CA. Also survived by her grandchildren Marie, Elise and Sam, her six great-grandchildren as well as many close family and friends. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 1;00 pm at Lakeview Cemetery, 80 Commonwealth Road (Rte. 30), Wayland. In lieu of flowers, her family kindly suggests that memorial gifts in her memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
