Jane (Taylor) Wilson, 79, died peacefully on Friday, August 13, 2021 at the Prescott House in North Andover following a period of declining health. She was born in Framingham on September 30, 1941 the daughter of the late Fern A. Taylor and Helen H. (Harrington) Taylor. She is survived by her children; Robert W. Wilson and his wife Elizabeth of Hopedale, Sandra L. Healey of Westford, Heather A. Flynn and her husband William of Raynham and Heidi J. Ellis and her husband Timothy of Fleming Island, FL. She was the sister of George M. Taylor of York, ME, Louise T. Perkins of Wayland and the late Carl H. Taylor. She was the wife of the late David C. Wilson and mother-in-law of the late John Healey. Also survived by seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Jane spent her formative years in Wayland and graduated from Wayland High School. She received her LPN degree from Emerson Hospital in Concord. She retired after a long career as a nurse in the Maternity department and the Progressive Care Unit at Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick. She had been a longtime resident of Natick before moving to Chelmsford. She was an active member of the Fisk Memorial United Methodist Church in Natick and participated in many Fisk Community activities, including quilting, the church fair and the Welcoming Committee. She was an avid reader, enjoyed movies and playing cards, especially Whist. In her earlier years, she was a member of the 4H Club which led to her love of nature and being outdoors. She enjoyed camping and long walks in the woods. She spent time quilting as well as vegetable and flower gardening at her home. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family and will be warmly missed by all who knew her. Visitations will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (off Rt. 30), Cochituate Village, Wayland. Her funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 11 a.m. followed by interment in Glenwood Cemetery in South Natick.
