When a Christmas card came back, it was the first time I had realized Rick's passing. Now it is known around the country and across the ocean, with word to his old friends.
Rick never made any day the same. Although I knew him after days at Deaconess, it is those Deaconess memories, of Rick's jokes and skits, that made everyday entertaining.
I never thought there would ever be a reason Id be dancing with a cane--to imitate old movies. But Rick did.... And I never thought these acting routines would be worth recording. But Rick did. And the little movie he made, imitating a classic movie --its with me now.
He will always be with us, never gone.
