Dave will be sorely missed. He was a wonderful neighbor with a huge heart. His California friends will never forget him or his visit to California a few years ago. Our children were introduced to him as Mr. Saulnier, but he suggested Dave and we settled on "Captain Dave" and the name stuck with him for the past ten years and spread throughout our entire extended family in the Mayfair neighborhood. We have so many fond memories of summers at the Cape including the wedding he hosted at his home and our outing to the Pops, not to mention many fishing trips and the occasional stop off at the Lost Dog. Rest in peace Captain Dave.
Sincerely,
Susan and David Tatomir

Dave was my friend and neighbor growing up. We got together at Travis AFB in 1967 when I was heading to Vietnam. Being stationed there he knew San Francisco pretty well and took me down to the Haight Ashbury section to see " Flower Power " in full swing. We had a lot of fun that night.
I never returned to Mass.to live, but regret now not looking him up when I visited.
My sincere condolences to his family.
