Violet Steinman

1928 - 2025

Violet Louise (Oisten) Steinman was born August 14, 1928 and passed away at home Sunday, November 9, 2025. Violet was the daughter of Charles and Minnie Oisten. They lived in Okmulgee, OK where her family was raised, seven brothers and two sisters. Then came sisters and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews into her family. Sister, Maxine, still lives in Tulsa, OK. Her father had family that brought her to Allegan, Michigan. On March 31, 1972, she married Arthur Louis Steinman. Violet then brought four children into her life. Over the years came more family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Violet had many hobbies. She loved bowling, golf, bingo, houseplants, crafting, bathing, crocheting, and puzzles. She enjoyed working at the Allegan County fair, she also worked in day-care for years. Violet was loved by her family, she will be deeply missed. Art would like to thank the Briarwood and Hospice Staff for all of their kindness. We love you, Violet. God Bless and Rest in peace.
