Nickolas Bommarito

1942 - 2025

Nickolas "Nick" Bommarito, age 82, passed away on July 24, 2025, at his home in Port Charlotte, Florida after a yearlong battle with lymphoma. Born on Sept. 1, 1942, in Albion, Michigan, Nick remained deeply connected to his roots throughout his life.
A proud graduate of Albion High School, Nick went on to dedicate three decades of service to Albion Industries before retiring. His strong work ethic and commitment left a lasting impression on those who worked alongside him.
Nick cherished time with his family and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He especially loved watching races and sharing stories over coffee with his close-knit group of friends. His visits back to Albion were always meaningful, reflecting his enduring bond with the place where he was born and raised.
He is survived by his beloved wife Barbara; son Nick Bommarito and wife Michon; daughter Maria Bommarito and fiancée Adam Cook, stepson Michael Woodworth and wife Barbie, daughter-in-law Terre; grandchildren Andrea, Brittny, Emily, Sarah, David, Jack, and Mariah; and eight great-grandchildren along with many loving nieces and nephews.
Nick was preceded in death by his parents James and Rose Bommarito; sister Josephine Rogers; brothers James, Joseph, and Clement; and sons Jeffery and Mark Bommarito.
As requested by Nick, no services are planned. Cremation has taken place.
