Diane K. Robinson (Miller), age 82 of Farwell, passed away Monday, November 24, 2025 at the MyMichigan Medical Center of Clare, surrounded by her loving family. On April 15, 1943, Diane was born one of two children to Josiah M. and Lucille (Rutzel) Miller in Highland Park, MI. Diane's early life was spent in the Metro Detroit area, where she was a graduate of the Redford High School Class of 1961. On May 26, 1962, she was united in marriage to Larry R. Robinson, Sr., in Detroit and together they shared nearly fifty-seven wonderful years until the time of Larry's passing in January of 2019. In November of 1978, Diane and Larry moved to Farwell to be closer to family and raise their children in a smaller town. Shortly after their move, Diane began working for the Ardis Nursing Home (now known as North Woods Nursing Center), where she served faithfully for 39 ½ years, starting as a nurse's aide and worked her way up to housekeeping supervisor before entering retirement. Diane loved the Christmas and holiday season, especially decorating and displaying her Christmas village and, of course, the holiday desserts. She also cherished camping at her favorite Northern Michigan campgrounds with her family and many extended family and friends. Diane also loved those special family days out to dinner and an occasional trip to the casino. Those that knew Diane best knew that she was happiest when she was surrounded by her beloved family and attending the many sporting events of her children, grandkids and great grandkids. Diane was an avid Detroit Tigers fan attending several home games and watching every game she could on tv, and she had a love for dancing, she was always the first one on the dance floor, or first one up around the campfire.
Diane is survived by her children Kellee Robinson, Larry (Becki) Robinson, Jr., Shelley (Greg) Randle, Joe Robinson, all of whom reside in Farwell, and Kim (Kevin) Hale of Harrison. Other survivors include her grandchildren Sarah (Gary) Allbee, Andrew (Ashley) Weber, Christopher (Emily) Weber, Brody (Kayla) Randle, Bella (Michael) Jabkiewicz, Brandon (Taylor Hoffmeyer) Weber, Curtis (Makenna McQueen) Robinson, Dustin (Sarah Jo) Weber, Phillip Hale, and Britney (Zach) Taylor, 20 great-grandchildren with one more on the way, and many nieces and nephews. Diane was preceded in death by her husband Larry Robinson, Sr., her parents Josiah and Lucille Miller, and her sister Janice Allen.
