I knew Anne via BYC as aart, and interacted with her many times. She was helpful, insightful, and I was so grateful for her wisdom and advice. She really helped me on my chicken keeping journey and I will miss her a lot.

I, as others, knew Anne as aart, on BYC. She helped sooo many people throughout 12 years. Fellow members have been asking, where is aart, as her presence was missed.
Prayers for her family. Requiescat in Pace.

So sorry for the loss of Anne, the person I knew and respected on Backyard Chickens. She always was willing to help with good suggestions, and brief, and to the point. I´m not surprised to learn that she was an engineer. She was a smart one.

I was so sorry to hear that Anne had passed. I knew her for over 10 years from the Backyard Chickens website as Aart. She was clever, witty, and always precise and sure of her facts. She helped many, many chicken newcomers with their flock housing and management. We will miss her very much.
My heart felt sympathy to her friends and family
