Sharon Benda Obituary
August 29, 2025
A Celebration of Life service to honor the life and legacy of Sharon Benda, age 82, of Alpha, MN was held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Jackson on Monday, September 8th at 11 a.m., with a time of visitation and gathering from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Burial was held at Riverside Cemetery in Jackson.
Sharon passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025, at the Sanford Medical Center in Jackson, MN.
Arrangements are under the care of the LaCanne Family Celebration of Life Center. Condolences and memories of Sharon may be shared online at LaCanneFuneralHome.com.

I'm missing my best girlfriend who lived across the street...all those growing up memories...potlucks, girl scouts, ice skating on the lake, playing tennis, camping out, running back and forth between our houses...We had the best of memories together. Now I think of Art and Carol missing her too...sending my love to both of you.

My condolences go out to Art and family. Sharon and our families spent many Christmas Eve´s at our Grandparents. These are the times I will always remember.

Sharon and I grew up together. We shared not only family but friends as we were growing up. We kept up with each other over the years sometimes only at Christmas but always knew each other were there for each other. I am so sorry of her passing and I know Art took very good care of her throughout the years.
