I lost touch with Fergus more than thirty years ago. I have so many vivid memories of his laughter, his wit, and his generosity. I can´t quite remember how he managed it, but he made it possible for me to see the Mets and the Red Sox in the 1986 World Series-game 2. (I just looked in up.) Dwight Gooden vs Roger Clemens. It was going to be the pitching duel of the ages . . . till it wasn´t. (Neither pitcher lasted past the fifth inning.) But none of that mattered: Fergus had a way of enjoying sports-and life--that was infectious.

Such a terrible loss of such a great guy. Always a smile. Ran into him at an XTC concert last Spring - he enjoyed his music! Thoughts and prayers to his family.
