Betty Barnes Obituary

Betty Lou Barnes passed away on Thursday, June 24 at her home. She was born on October 26, 1929 in Greenville, Ohio to Levi and Jessie (Miller) Bixler. She was a 1947 graduate of Greenville High School. Betty enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading and watching sports, especially the Cincinnati Reds. She was a member Winchester Chapter 60 Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, in 1986, and two sisters and one brother. She is survived by her daughter, Jana Barnes, and step-son Larry (Marlene) Barnes, two step-granddaughters, Shawnda (Robert) Bond and Andrea Barnes Sinnamon, several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate Betty's life will be at 2:00 p.m., on Friday July 2, 2021 at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester with Pastor Steve Conner officiating. Burial will follow at Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester.
Friends and family may call from 12-2 p.m., on Friday at the funeral home.
