Carol Jarrett Obituary

Carol Sue (Hunley) Jarrett passed away February 24, 2025 after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Duane Jarrett, December 8, 2012 and her grandson, Darren Delk, November 5, 2005. She was born to John Hunley and Ardeth (Lamb) Hunley on October 15, 1946. She is survived by her children, Janice Deann Jarrett, Winchester; Joyce Danine (Jarrett) Delk, Bryant; Joellen Delaine (Jarrett) Mays, husband Brian, Portland. Her grandchildren Daniel Delk, Winchester; Rachel Woodbury, wife Amber, Decatur; Michael Wo odbury, wife Dianna, Union City. Great grandchildren Corbin Delk, Asia Delk, Nathan Ansberry, partner Lee, Allison Doster. She is also survived by one brother Larry Hunley, Mesa, Arizona and one sister Phyllis (Hunley) Lewis, Lynn.
Carol loved her family with her whole heart. She loved listening to Elvis Presley and country music and playing bingo. She will be greatly missed by her family.
A service to celebrate Carol's life will be at 1:00 p.m., on Monday, March 3, 2025, at the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester, with Pastor Jeff Bullard officiating. Burial will follow at Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester.
Friends and family may call 2 hours prior to funeral services on Monday, at the funeral home.
