Tina Amburn Obituary

Tina (Baker-Poe) Amburn, 65, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana.
Born in Winchester, Indiana, Tina was a 1978 graduate of Delta High School in Muncie. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Florida, where she worked for many years before returning home to Indiana.
Tina was known for her warm heart, quick wit, and the love she shared so freely with everyone around her.
She enjoyed reading, tending to her garden, quilting, cooking, and canning for her family and friends.
She is survived by her mother, Stephanie Thompson of Parker City; sister, Heather Baker-Cecchini (Keith) of Boynton Beach, FL; aunt, Kathy Veazey (Jim) of Tennessee; stepsisters, Denise Royal (Richard) and Renee Klink; and many loving relatives and lifelong friends, including Pam, Laura, Tam, and Belinda.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffrey Amburn; stepfather, Richard Thompson; grandmother, Olive Hudelson; aunt, Armette Hudelson; and several other dear relatives.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Vicki Wasson, a special friend and caregiver, as well as to Brandon Aiman, PA-C, and the 4S staff at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson, and the Hospice/5N staff at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion, which made Tina's final days peaceful.
She will be laid to rest to be with her husband, Jeff, in Fountain Park Cemetery, Winchester, IN. A Celebration of Life ceremony will take place at a later date. The family wishes that you would honor Tina by reading a book, donating to an animal rescue organization, or volunteering at any number of organizations that might need help.
Tina will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her spirit, kindness, and laughter will live on in our hearts.
