Shirley Morgan Walden
EDEN PRAIRIE - Shirley Morgan Walden was born on a farm in Iowa. She graduated from the Stanley High School where she was involved in several musical groups and was valedictorian of her class. Shirley attended the University of Northern Iowa and taught in elementary schools after graduating. In 1952, she married Everett Walden. They had 2 sons; Steve, deceased in 2024 and Dave, currently living in Dayton, MN. Shirley worked as a secretary at two universities and for an elementary principal. She was active in her churches in Iowa and Minnesota. When Everett retired from Winona State University, they moved to Arizona where Everett played golf and Shirley played bridge. Shirley is survived by her son Dave, two daughter in-laws, two granddaughters, one grandson, four great granddaughters and two great grandsons.
