I am so sad to hear of the loss of Billy. I ache for his wife, children and other family and friends. We, here at Curly's H-D are sad as well. I am so glad that I was able to meet Billy and know that a dream come true for him. I wish that he was riding right now enjoying the sun. He is however, enjoying a different Son, the One that allows our dreams to come true and puts the smile on our face just as Billy had whenever I saw him. I have you all in my prayers and am thinking of you.

My condolences to you and yours. Billy was my best friend growing up. After High School we went our seperate ways and I saw him once years later. I never knew how to find him again and regret that very much. We had nicknames for each other. I was "CHICKEN" and he was "TURKEY". We had some great times. I am sure he influenced many people. To the Pope family and especially Chris: My daughter, Julie Clark, went to school with Chris until their freshman year. We are so very sorry for your loss and are praying for you. Billy Joe and I both chaperoned the 5th grade Wilmington trip and all the kids loved him. He was a very nice man and seemed to be a wonderful dad. Julie sends her sympathy to Chris.

My prayers are with Katherine and the children. I am so sorry for your loss. Billy Joe was one of the nicest people I have ever met.
He always spoke of you and the kids everytime he came in. He made friends easily and there are a lot of people at Sara Lee who will miss him terribly. May God comfort you and give you peace.

I knew Billy Joe as a man who loved his wife and children above all. I worked with him at Roadway, and that is something we first discussed when I met him, and it was a frequent subject between us. You are in my and my wife's prayers. God bless all of you in the family. Sam and Sandy Stanley
