Charles S. Kieffer

Charles S. Kieffer Jr., 84 Of Wilmington, DE, formerly of Boothwyn, PA Charles S. Kieffer Jr., 84, passed away on July 1, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital. Mr. Kieffer graduated from Browns Vocational School in Wilmington in 1945. He served in the U.S. Army with the 707 Battalion during the Korean War from 1950 to 1952. He was employed by Doeskin Paper Products in Rockland, Delaware for 28 years. He was then employed by Chichester Township retiring in 1993. Mr. Kieffer was a member of the Talleyville Fire Company for 62 years. Survivors: His wife of 28 years Ruth Ann; 6 children; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday July 9, 2012 at the Chandler Funeral Home, 2506 Concord Pike, Wilmington, 302-478-7100. Visitation: Friends and family may visit in the funeral home 10 to 11 AM. Interment: Siloam United Methodist Church Cemetery.
