CL made a great impact on students and teachers for many, many years. He always treated me with kindness and respect. He was a calm, caring person. He will be greatly missed :(

CL was my colleague for the past 20 years. We served on a team as WS/FCS District Technologists from 1991 - 1995. CL worked untirelessly for children and colleagues. I respected CL's work and his special technology skills that supported all areas of education in WS/FCS.

I am grateful that God allowed our paths to cross.

I first met CL in the media cntr at sedge garden which is so odd that the last place I seen him was at piney grove's media cntr. He was always real cool with me, didnt mind sparing a minute to chat about anything from tech to the crazy traffic on Silas creek! He will be missed from the 4801 family...my prayers are with the family Rev21:4

C.L. was so helpful to everyone in the department as we navigated the systems we needed to provide the best possible media services to students and teachers. Even when he was unwell, his advice was expert and patient in any situation. Our deepest sympathy is with all the family.

CL was a very special person and a dear friend to so many. There isn't a technology facilitator in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools who will be able to complete another AMTR report for Raleigh without remembering CL fondly. I'm picturing him up in heaven reeling in a huge trout right now. My prayers are with you all.

I am a Media Assistant in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School system, and only knew C.L. for a short period of time. In the short time, I learned what a kind, loving, patient, and knowledgeable man he was. He will be sorely missed, and I count it a privilege to have known him. May God's peace be with his family.

So sorry to hear of CL's unexpected passing. We spent many Sunday's in Clemmons Moravian Advent Class in great discussions far and wide. CL was a very giving person and anyone that knew him knew there were no limits on what he would do to help someone. He will truly be missed by his church family, we have lost a brother indeed. I will always treasure the memory of CL on his 50th and how much fun he had that day, it seems only too close of a memory to recall though. God Bless, and God Speed CL.

I worked two summers with CL and saw him throughout the school year and always counted him as a good friend. So sorry to learn of his death. My prayers are with the family. and his co-workers. Jean Phillips
