Chris Clodfelter Obituary
April 28, 1944 - March 24, 2023
Chris Gowain Clodfelter, 78 years old, passed away at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, Winston-Salem, N.C. Chris was a "Car Guy". Talking about cars or motorcycles and going to auto shows were his passion. He loved nothing more than taking a long drive and exploring backroads. Chris and his late wife, Lou, enjoyed spending time in the Smoky Mountains of Tenn. and the Coast of the Carolinas. He liked some good seafood or bbq always with a big glass of sweet tea. He also loved to visit with family and friends just to "shoot the breeze". Chris retired from Roadway Express. Chris was preceded in death by his Wife, Geneva "Lou" Lucille Jenkins Clodfelter, his Parents, William D. Clodfelter, Jr. and Irene Easter Clodfelter, Siblings, Danny Clodfelter, Sandy Clodfelter Kegley, and Kip Clodfelter. Chris is survived by his Three Children, Daughters, Kristy Mabe of Winston-Salem, N.C., Candy (Donald) Still of Tampa, Fla., and Son, Jeffery (Claudia) Clodfelter of Holly Springs, NC, Five Grandchildren and One Great-Grandchild. The Family will have a Visitation on Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, 3315 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem N.C. A Memorial Service will be held at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Christa Warise officiating.
