I don't remember exactly when I first met Dave, but it was while I was working for Landmark Builders. That was from 1983 to 1985, so I have known Dave for about twenty years. I will always remember him as someone easy and fun to talk with.
After I left Landmark, our paths crossed less frequently, but each time we talked was a blessing. It was easy for us to start with business and quickly drift into talking about Jesus and how good He has been to us both. My most cherished memory was the night we happened upon each other while flying from Winston-Salem to Charlotte. Our paths that night were going in vastly different directions from Charlotte, but for about an hour we got to catch up on how things had been with each other.
I will miss having the opportunity to talk with Dave from time to time, but I will look forward to meeting up with him in Heaven to again talk how good Jesus has been to us.
May God's peace and comfort be with all of you during this time.
