David Potter Obituary
David is survived by his mother, Camara Brenegar, and his husband, Ronald Dennis. He is also survived by his sisters, Barbara Potter Pinto and Karen Elizabeth Tilley, as well as his step-brother, Rev. Dr. Edwin R. Brenegar, and step-sisters, Francis Brenegar Harrington and Jane Brenegar Trexlar. David was a loving uncle to his nephews, Reza Paul Banikazemi, Javad Benjamin Banikazemi, Elias Saied Banikazemi, and Cyrus David Banikazemi, and a doting great uncle to his great-niece, Lily Rose Banikazemi, and great-nephews, Landon Foster, Cameron Foster, and Oliver Edward Cyrus Ortiz-Banikazemi.
David was preceded in death by his father, Paul Watkins Potter, his step-father, Edwin R. Brenegar, and his nephew, Joseph Matthew Tilley, and niece, Elizabeth Camara Foster.
David's educational journey started at Midway Elementary and continued at North Davidson Senior High. He further pursued his higher education at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro.
In 1983, David embarked on his career with Piedmont Airlines, which later merged with USAirways and American Airlines. In 2022, he transferred to the Admirals Club in Washington, DC. David cherished his job and formed strong bonds with his colleagues, finding joy in the work he did.
David Paul Potter will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will be cherished forever. May his soul rest in peace.

This is so sad. One of the suggestions is to write about a time when David made me and others smile - how about all the time! He always looked at the bright side, always shook it off - he will be missed so much I am sure.

That was a beautiful tribute to David. My grandson ask me how long had I know David and I said all my life. We grew up beside each other and have known each other since. David was family and a great friend. Miss you!
