Dear family, I am very sorry for your family. It is devasting to loose a child. Ann, you and I worked together many years ago, when you were a dental asst. here in Mt. Airy. My last name was Nunn at that time. We had some unbelievable times at Dr. J's. I will keep you and your family in our prayers.

ANN, I COULD NEVER IMAGINE WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH OR FEELING RIGHT NOW. I WANT YOU TO KNOW I AM THINKING OF YOU AND MY HEART BREAKS FOR YOU. WHEN I HEARD WHAT HAD HAPPENED I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO THINK OR DO. I COULD ONLY IMAGINE THE PAIN YOU ARE FEELING. THE TEARS SEEMED TO COME AND NOT STOP. IF I HADN'T WORKED WITH YOU AND GOTTEN TO KNOW AND LOVE YOU I WOULD HAVE RESPONEDED DIFFERENTLY. IT WOULDN'T HAVE HURT SO MUCH. HEARING THAT ANYONE HAS LOST A CHILD HURTS BUT HEARING YOU LOST YOUR SON WHO WAS THE LIGHT OF YOUR LIFE WAS SO HARD. IT HURT DEEP DOWN IN MY HEART. EVERYTIME I THINK OF YOU I HURT FOR YOU. I WANT YOU TO KNOW I AM PRAYING FOR GOD TO TAKE CARE OF YOU AND YOURS DURING THIS TIME. I KNOW YOU WILL NEVER GET OVER THIS BUT GOD CAN CARRY YOU THROUGH THE ROUGH SPOTS IN YOUR LIFE TO COME. I PRAY FOR YOUR DAUGHTER WHO LOST HER BROTHER. GOD WILL CARRY HER TOO.

DEAREST ANN, MY HEART HURTS FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. WHAT A TRAGIC THING TO HAPPEN TO ANYONE. I CANNOT IMAGINE HOW AWFUL THIS WOULD BE. NOTHING CAN MAKE YOUR HEART STOP HURTING AT THIS POINT EXCEPT TO KNOW HE IS IN A SAFE AND LOVING PLACE AWAITING THE TIME THAT YOU WILL BE WITH HIM AGAIN. DON'T BE IN A HURRY TO GET THERE BECAUSE YOUR DAUGHTER AND FAMILY AS WELL AS ALL OF US STILL NEED YOU.

My thoughts and prayers are with Ann and her family during this very difficult time. I work at FMC and have seen Ann in the halls many times and she has worked on the unit with me as well. I can only imagine the pain you are going through at this time. Please know that I will be thinking about you.

Although I do not know Ann that well she has worked on my unit several times. I have passed her in the halls and she is ALWAYS smiling. My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family during this time. I am attaching a poem.

My son my child

My precious baby,

Close to my heart

I'll keep you with me.

An important job

God has for you,

There is love to give,

and work to do.

He needs an Angel

strong but small,

To shine light on many

and give love to all.

Before you go

I give you this,

half my heart

and one last kiss.

I'll miss you dearly

that I know,

But by GOD you were

chosen,

So to Heaven, you must go.
