KERNERSVILLE - Dean Donald McCloud, 53, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007. He was born June 14, 1953, in Banner Elk to Clarence McCloud, who predeceased him, and Arlene Roark McCloud. Dean attended Gospel Baptist Church in Mocksville. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary McCloud, and a nephew, David Mackie. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Karen McCloud. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at Hayworth-Miller-Cain Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today, Jan. 12, at the funeral home.
