Frances "Elaine" Harvey Glascoe, age 76, of Riverview Rd Ext in Lexington, peacefully passed away on May 13, 2024, in the early morning hours. She was born in Surry County on April 22, 1948, to the late Arvil "AJ" Johnson Harvey Sr. and Gladys Bernice Creed Harvey. Frances was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Monroe Glascoe. Frances dedicated many years of her life as a Cable Room Technician for Western Electric. She was a loving and devoted mother to her three wonderful children, Tony Glascoe and wife Karen, Jennifer Carter, and husband, Mark and Kay Littlejohn. Frances was also preceded in death by her parents, Arvil and Gladys. She leaves behind a cherished legacy and a family that adored her, including her brothers, Arvil Harvey and wife Tammy, and John Harvey and wife Cindy. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Tiffany Kidd, Ryan Hester and wife Destiny, Kelly St. Clair, Cody Carter, and Heather Distler; as well as her great-grandchildren, Dante, Lexis, Jakson, Charlotte, and Ocean.
A visitation to honor Frances's life will be held on Monday, May 20th, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington, with a service on Tuesday, May 21st, at 11 a.m., followed by a committal service at Forest Hill, officiated by Pastor John Bishop. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292. Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net.
