Mr. George Hauser, III passed away September 9, 2020. A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Friday, September 11, 2020 at Russell Funeral Home. Private funeral services will be held Saturday, September 12, 2020 (RUSSELL).

I am saddened so much by George's passing. I am a longtime resident of Lewisville and was, many times over, the beneficiary of George's dedication and professionalism in his position as Director of Public Works. In my dealings with him, he was easy to get along with, always helpful, and always interested in doing his best to provide the best for town residents.
I pray for God's blessings for your family, and for eternal rest for George.

We were saddened to hear of George's passing. What a total gentleman he was. He was also musically talented. We mourn his passing along with his wife, daughter and other family members. We know he's in a special place in heaven.

My sincerest condolences to the family of Mr. George "Gee" Hauser. I met him over 40 years ago when he was the lifeguard at Kimberly pool. We came to bowl together in a league at Northside Lanes many years later and learned we shared a love for the Carolina Panthers! Though we didn't always see each other when we did it's was always like seeing your best friend!! He will truly be missed.
