He was an amazing father, the best I could have asked for. I wish he could have stayed here longer; gotten to know him. 9 years ago as of when I'm writing this. I miss him all the time. I loved him and still do.

What a wonderful legacy Ken left -a loving wife who was his true love and two precious children, who will carry on his love, his hilarious ways, and all he was! We will always love you, Ken, and will always remember you as "our son". Love you, Hopie - Mom and Daddy

Hope, Andy, and the extended Mabe family: You are all in my prayers during this difficult and painful time. I got to know the Mabe family at CC of the Triad and I really enjoyed my many conversations with Ken there and on Facebook. There just aren't words right now that can mean anything, but please know you are loved and prayed for and my sister and I will pay you a visit soon Hope. God bless you and keep you and may you all feel His comfort at this time. In the love of Christ,

My condolances go out to the family of Mr. Mabe, I did not know him or his family. However I saw the accident happen my heart stopped, all I could think was Lord NO this can not be happening in front of me. I was hoping it was all a bad dream. I wished I could have done something to stop or prevented it from happening. he is the same age as my husband and he also ride motorcycles. Again my thougth and prayer are going up and out to the Mabe family.
I Did Not Die
Do not stand at my grave and forever weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and forever cry.
I am not there. I did not die.
