Leslie Turner Ladd

LADD LEXINGTON - Leslie Turner Ladd, age 75, of Eller Road, Lexington passed away Saturday morning, (August 7, 2010), at Forsyth Medical Center. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, (August 10, 2010, at Midway United Methodist Church with Rev. John C. Woods, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home-Hickory Tree Chapel from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, and at other times at the home of his daughter, 3502 Clodfelter Road, Winston Salem. Leslie was born in Forsyth County, June 20, 1935 to Turner Leslie Ladd and Fuchsia Ratledge Ladd. He worked for Bahnson with 30 years of service, retired from Piedmont Natural Gas and worked part time for Davidson County Box Sites. He attended Midway United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Barbara McNeal. Surviving are; wife Shirlene Everhart Ladd of the home; one daughter, Ginger Leslie Ladd Graham and husband David of Midway; two grandchildren, Adam and Amber Graham; three sisters, Eva Ladd Meadows and Kathleen Millsaps and husband Boyd all of Winston Salem, Carol Holt and husband Charles of Lexington.
