Walnut Cove, NC - Pamela A. Munton Beall Johnson (Pam) passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021 in North Myrtle Beach, SC after a long fight with various health problems. Pam was born on March 20, 1969 in Roanoke, VA. She attended William Byrd High School in Vinton and graduated from South Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, NC.

She is survived by her husband, Chuck Johnson of Walnut Cove, NC; her parents, Rick and Peggy Munton of North Myrtle Beach, SC; her children, Tyler Beall of Greensboro, Brittany Beall of High Point, Hope Beall of Winston-Salem; and her grandson, Roman of Winston-Salem. She is also survived by a sister, Michelle Munton of Little River, SC, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pam had a loving soul with a deep love for her family and friends. She also loved cooking, animals, gardening, hummingbirds and dragonflies. Fly high, Pam, fly high.

Per Pam's wishes, she will be cremated, with a Celebration of Life held on October 23, 2021 at 2pm a the Willow Oak Baptist Church at 4837 NC HWY 89 E. in Walnut Cove, NC, 27052. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Pam's name to the charity of your choice.

I'm just seeing this today. Thank you Pam for all your laughter and fun times we shared at OB/Gyn on Shepherd St while we worked. I wish I had known you were at N Myrtle since I'm at Calabash and I would have visited with you. May God comfort your family during this time.

This is still so hard to believe. We are praying for peace and comfort for all of her family and friends. My last text from Pam was letting me know she was missing the "landmark" camper. Such great neighbors and friends.
