Dear Charlie and Ann,

Sally and I were so sorry to hear about the death of your father. Your father was my mentor, superior, and friend. He was instrumental in our moving to the Carolina's 40 some years ago when I joined his staff at Hanes. In recent years we have had the opportunity to enjoy some fun evenings with him in Charlotte reminiscing about the exciting, trying, and fun years while working together at Hanes in Winston Salem. His contributions to Hanes' success and his outstanding work ethic will be missed and long remembered. God bless you and your family at this difficult time.
