Robert Wright Obituary

Robert Wright

Sep 24, 1956 - Jul 14, 2025

Robert Mark Wright was an outstanding husband, father, GrandSir to his grandchildren, and friend to those who knew him. He loved God, his family, his work, his team, and the friends God blessed his life with. Mark was ever generous, kind, selfless, always thinking of others, and a visionary. He encouraged those around him to think outside the box, dream big, and make time to make fun.

Mark was born on September 24, 1956, in Maryville, Tenn., to Robert Edgar Wright and Marion Sue Scott Wright, who have preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Kym Ardeecy Kilpatrick Wright, of Atlanta, Ga.; and their eight children.

The family will receive friends and family from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, July 18, 2025, at Slate Funeral Home in King, N.C., with funeral services immediately following, officiated by Rev. Robert Kilpatrick.

Slate Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Robert Mark Wright.
