I didn't get to be around Ronnie much, but the time that I was was both fun and meaningful. He could joke and "carry on," but I could tell he had a sincere heart. Heaven is brighter daily with folks like Ronnie going before us.

We are praying for you all! Ronnie was the life of the party! He made a room come alive when he walked in. He never met a stranger because he would become friends before the conversation would be over. He had such a giving heart! He will be missed by everyone. ❤

I grew up with Ronnie and have such fond memories of playing as children, and being very close as we traveled through life. Ronnie was always picking and laughing whenever I saw him. He loved telling stories about our childhood and always brought a smile to our faces. We are 2nd cousin's and I will so very much miss seeing him. We wish all the peace and comfort to Mary Anne and family, and wish them the very best through all of this.

Ronnie had such a presence about him. He was a good man and he was funny. He loved to tease and make others laugh. He made the lives of those around him a little easier and a little lighter. May God give all of you peace and rest easy, Ronnie.

Ronnie was part of the coffee gathering at the Midtown Cafe in Boonville, He was always talking about taking care of his granddaughters and how proud he was of them. He was a pleasant and considerate person to be around in the morning over coffee. He is joining his other friends at the table who passed before him, Steve Stanley, J. C. Elliot, Kenneth Reece, C. L. Dinkins, Graham Reece. I'm sure that they are talking over coffee up there in heaven. He was a very religious fellow and proud of his Mt. Harmon Church and his involvement there. Boonville was basically his second home.

Wow, what a nice man. I got to know Ronnie several years ago and he was the most accommodating fella you could meet. The last time I saw him was at WalMart drive through in Elkin, he saw me and rolled his window down to talk, he never passed up time to speak to friends. Go rest high my friend, until we meet again....
