My sister Carolyn and I have so many sweet memories of visiting Ruby Gayle and Frederick in Mars Hill, with our parents. Ruby Gayle was a delightful person who always had a warm smile!!

I first met Ruby about 11 years ago when both she and my mother lived in the cottages at Vienna Village. Always one of my favorites Ruby had a delightful, friendly personality and a beautiful smile. I always enjoyed seeing her. She and my mother transitioned to assisted living at about the same time. When I´d see her there she always had her friendly smile and hello. I learned of Ruby´s amazing talent as a pianist at the Vienna Village sing alongs.

Recently my mother, who´s blind, mentioned that Ruby would say hello by taking her hand and giving it a warm squeeze.

Truly a lovely woman.......
