Ruby Knott Orenchick

ORENCHICK Mrs. Ruby Knott Orenchick, 86, widow of Harry Orenchick, died Thursday, July 17, 2008, at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Orenchick was born March 15, 1922, in Lee County to William Burch and Gladys Ray Knott. She was a graduate of Blackstone College. A member of St. Luke' s Methodist Church in Sanford, she attended Mount Tabor United Methodist Church in Winston-Salem with her daughter. She retired from the Research & Development Department of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. Mrs. Orenchick is survived by her daughter, Nancy Reinhardt, and husband Jerry of Winston-Salem; a grandson, Greg; and a granddaughter, Mary. She is also survived by a sister, Nancy Smith of Pawley' s Island, S.C.; and a brother, Bill Knott of Winston-Salem. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today, July 19, at Salem Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. in Buffalo Cemetery in Sanford.
