I'll always remember Todd as a hard worker and a man with attention to detail. I only knew him a couple years however I truly can say he he is already missed.

Todd and I grew up together as small kids. We both loved playing with our matchbox cars and Tonkas as well as riding our bikes. Both of our parents were friends and our families did quite a few things together. Unfortunately Todd´s family moved and we didn´t stay in touch with them. Todd was a great buddy to play with as a kid and I have many memories of him as well as his family. Rest in peace my friend.

I don't believe anyone really knew Todd Bourbonais the way I did. He kept everything so locked away and most people at a distance. He tried to escape his feelings, his fears, his thoughts, with noise, arrogance, smoke, trivial or harmful distractions. He didn't care if people liked him because he experienced rejection more than anything else in his life and couldn't bear it so if he didn't already love you, he wasn't going to. He loved his daughter more than anything in this world. He loved his little brother and sister unconditionally, he loved his friends that were there for him when he was alone and scared. He loved animals and babies. He loved me.
He was a dichotomy, a complicated contradiction within. He was easy to love and hate at the same time. He was depressed, and he was extremely funny. He was selfish and also so thoughtful. He was artistic, skilled, dapper and messy. He never backed down from hard work and he wasted his time. He was a generous person and a klepto. He was easy to talk to and outgoing but he hated people and was an introvert. I wanted him to leave, but couldn't live without him. I wanted him to heal his soul, I wanted someone to love him enough to welcome him when he had nothing to give the way that I did. I wanted him to get back on his feet and call me from a different time zone and invite me to come meet his family for the holidays and try to convince me to stay. I wanted him to come here that Friday, instead he died.
