Wic and Ronnie
I have been out of town all week, and so I just heard the news last night.

I always enjoyed stopping by the mill and speaking to Mr. Billy and trying to solve world problems. I hadn't seen him in a couple of weeks, and heard that Mr. Billy had been asking about me. As a result, I stopped by the mill last Saturday and spent some time with him and sure am glad that I did.

I will miss Mr. Billy, and you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Patricia, Wic, Scott, and Ronnie,
I am so sad to learn of Billy's passing. He was such an important part of Walnut Cove for all of his lifetime that he leaves a void that will be impossible to fill. He and your entire family contributed much to my pleasant childhood memories of growing up next door to you on Main Street.
Although geographical distance dictates that I will not be able to attend his service, please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Patricia - Jane Gehring let us know about Billy. He will be missed by so many and Roy and I will be counted among those. The last time I was in W-C I stopped in at the Roller Mill to say hi. Ron wasn't in but I enjoyed getting caught up on everything and just talking to Billy. We could always count on him to tell it truthfully with a great deal of enthusiasm. Our sympathies to you and the family. Our love to all of you.
