Alice Marie Rahn, age 99, of Waupun, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus, on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at the Christian Homestead in Waupun, Wisconsin.
Alice was born on December 31, 1925, in Chester, Illinois, the daughter of Louis and Emma (Bollmann) Mueller. She was baptized on January 6, 1926, and confirmed on April 2, 1939, at St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois. Alice was united in marriage to Gerald Rahn on June 8, 1958, at St. John Lutheran Church.
Alice was a dedicated member of Pella Lutheran Church since 1958, where she contributed her talents to the choir for many years. She was also actively involved in the Pella Ladies Aid and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League, serving in various offices and committees. Throughout her life, Alice was passionate about helping others. Her volunteer work at Bethesda Lutheran Home in Watertown, Wisconsin, supported handicapped residents, showcasing her caring nature. She was particularly committed to pro-life issues and played an active role in the Pella Life Group at church, reflecting her strong values and dedication to her beliefs.
Alice is survived by her son, Dr. Dale (Susan) Rahn of Snohomish, WA; daughter-in-law, Dr. Cynthia Rahn of Walnut Creek, CA; six grandchildren, Abbey (Logan) Frederickson, Caitlyn (Jacob) Denning, Bailey (Craig Boush) Rahn, Matthew Rahn, Jared (Kelly) Rahn and Erik (Tiffany) Rahn; and brother-in-law, Ronald (Ruth) Rahn of Beaver Dam, WI. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Rahn; son, Mark Rahn; parents; twin brothers, Melvin (Anita) and Milton (Margaret) Mueller; sister, Florence (Oliver) Schrieber; and aunt, Lela Bollmann.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to WI – Orphan Grain Train, 232462 N 136th Ave Marathon WI 54448.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Pella Lutheran Church, 315 South Madison Street, Waupun, WI 53963.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Pella Lutheran Church with Rev. David Knuth officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Mound Cemetery.
