Joyce A. Walker age 92, died on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at The Meadows Assisted Living in Fall River, Wisc. She was born on May 20, 1933 to Carl and Alice (Boll) Anderson in Rice Lake, Wisc. Joyce graduated as class valedictorian from Weyerhaeuser High School. After high school, she attended UW-Madison where she earned her degree in Medical Technology. She began her long career at Columbus Community Hospital (formerly St. Mary's Hospital) in 1953 as a medical technologist, retiring in 1993.

Joyce was married to Thomas "TR" Walker on November 9, 1957, and together raised two children, Scott and Libby. Throughout her life, Joyce remained an avid Badger fan enjoying the UW football games for over 40 years. She also enjoyed traveling to Germany and Norway. Joyce enjoyed camping in Door County every summer with her children and extended family.

Survivors include her children, Scott (Mindy) Walker of Helenville and Libby (Kasey DeWitt) Walker of Columbus; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; her sister, Marge Kolek of Fall River; her brother, Rube Anderson of Fall Creek; other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 2015; brother, Martin Anderson; sisters, Lois Anderson and Mary Burns.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9 a.m., on Monday, March 16, 2026 at FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH, Columbus. Rev. Robert Moberg will officiate. Inurnment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Columbus. The family expresses their sincere thanks to Moments Hospice and The Meadows staff.
