Michael Wakerhauser Obituary

Michael J. Wakerhauser

Town of Lewiston, Wisconsin

Michael J. Wakerhauser passed away in his sleep September 3rd, 2025, on the farm that his dad built and they both loved.

Mike was born October 6, 1979, to Ronald Wakerhauser and Caryl Heller.

Mike had a big heart. Even though he sometimes had trouble showing it, it was always there. He took care of others when he could and loved and cared for his animals on the farm so much. Just like his dad, who was the dearest of people to Mike, there was also a place in his heart for the Packers and the Brewers. And for his trucks, a fruitful hunting expedition and his dear cat, Emmie. Mike will be missed by his family and so many others, as he was taken from us way to early.

Mike is survived by his mother and three siblings, Jennifer, Cheryl and Daniel.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 18th, from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Kratz Funeral Home in Portage (www.kratzfuneralhome.com). A service will follow at the funeral home starting at 6 p.m.

So sorry to hear about Mike's passing. He was definitely too young to leave this world.
