Newton was a fun-loving man, who always took the good with the bad, and gracefully weathered all of life's challenges. Newton was known for his storytelling, great sense of humor and his ability to keep others laughing. He was always a joy to be around and his memories will last forever.

Newt was one of my dad’s best friends! They were golfing buddies and shared a common Friesian heritage! The Fox Lake golf course will not be hearing the Friese talk now, but heaven’s courses will have both Angelic and Friesian voices. Rest in peace dear Newt and say Hi to Al from his daughter ❤

Newton was a joy to have in our Coffee Shop.He was our oldest customer. He came in with his wife Esther and made us all laugh. He even has a specialty drink named after him.We would put on the oldtime music and sing songs together. He always offered advice to our young teenagers. Our hearts ache for his loved ones left behind.May God bring you all peace, and joy knowing he is now resting in the arms of the Lord. Sending prayers, Tina & staff @T's Cup & Cream.

We are all saddened by the news of Newton's passing. What a great man! We've enjoyed him as a wonderful friend and customer here at Napleton Chevy in Columbus for many, many years, and it was always a hoot when he came in! He loved talking in Dutch with my daughter at the dealership, once he found out she lived in the Netherlands for a while. His wit was sharp and quick and his stories were always entertaining! His humor was the best! He lived an unbelievable life that most of us could not even imagine. He was an incredible human being and always had a smile on his face. We will all miss him at the dealership. Rest in peace, my friend. Rest in peace.
