Robert A. Bremer, age 80 of Gallatin, Tennessee and formerly of Wisconsin, passed away October 13, 2025 surrounded by his family.

Robert was born April 22, 1945, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of Helmuth and Dorothy (Schroeder) Bremer.

His family moved to the Lake Delton area where he attended elementary and high school. Robert spent Summers working the family business, where he gained the entrepreneurial spirit he carried his entire life.

On August 19, 1966 he married Carolyn Wood, and they settled in Janesville, WI, where Robert attended school at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. Robert worked for many local businesses, and spent time in Hong Kong working in importing and international business.

Robert's priority was always the well being of his loved ones. Since 2004, he was always with his family. He enjoyed watching a Packers game, cowboy movie or listening to music in his free time. He had a dry sense of humor, and a reputation as "the grandpa" to the entire neighborhood. Robert was dedicated to being the best version of himself, celebrating 39 years of sobriety before his passing.

Robert is survived by his daughter Lori, son-in-law William Meurett, his brother Paul and sister-in-laws Susan, Bonnie and Karen. He is further survived by 2 grandchildren, Robert (Emily) and Emmerson (Jacob). He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jack, Norbert, Les, sister Sandra Winnes and partner Caroline Wood.
