So sorry to hear of Dorothy's passing. Remember well growing up with the Bogers as neighbors, especially Janey and Davey. Dorothy was an amazing woman and mother. Will always remember her amazing voice singing in the choir at United Methodist Church and the kindness of the entire Boger family to my brother, Mike, who also had special needs.

Thinking of all of you with fond Port Edwards memories

January 21, 2015

Jane, Tom, Lisa and the entire Boger extended clan,
The Bernhardt family extends their deepest sympathies to all of you during this sad time. Art and Dorothy sang together in the church choir for so many, many, many years. Both were pillars in the choir with their love of music and wonderful voices. Every year Art made sure that his neighbor Dorothy had a bag of his home grown apples. He felt a kindred spirit with her as they both were part of the same generation and both were always lonely after the passing of their beloved spouses. As a family we feel your loss and send you our love, our prayers, and our deepest sympathies. As siblings we always see your house every time we are in Port Edwards. We miss the shining lights we always saw in the windows. Art will be singing in spirit at the services on Wednesday, as he himself is in intensive care and unfortunately unable to attend. He would be singing his best to honor a grand lady and neighbor, your Mom. May she rest in peace, she was indeed a trooper, a wonderful neighbor, and a special lady!
