Marian (Marion) Lee Phillips, age 65 passed away peacefully at her home in San Jose, California, with family and friends at her side after a long illness. Marian was a former resident of St. Louis, Missouri, Port Edwards, Wisconsin, and Humbird, Wisconsin before moving to San Jose, California to live with her sister and brother-in-law.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Feldner/Ritchay Funeral Home in Nekoosa, Wisconsin. Rev. Daniel Bohn will officiate. Burial will take place in the Mentor Cemetery, Humbird, Wisconsin. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. Celebration of Marian's life will also be held in San Jose, California at a later date.

Marian was born April 12, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri to John A and Ellen L (Moore) Phillips. She is survived by one sister, Harriet A. Williamson (Phillips) and one brother, John B. Phillips. Marian is also survived by her brother-in-law Ralph C Williamson, sister-in-laws, Dale Cheree (Dohdee) Phillips (Neumann) of California, Rebacca Ann Phillips (Brown) of Wisconsin, Helen Phillips of St. Louis, Missouri. She is also survived by her 14 nieces and nephews, 22 great nieces and nephews and one great- great nephew all of whom she was very proud.

Marian was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, infant sister, Sue Ellen, infant brother, Karl brothers Robert and Edward.

Marian had Cerebral Palsy from birth but she never let it hold her back. She became well known in the Special Needs artist group as a very talented artist. She sold a number of her paintings, sculptures and other work while attending Creativity Unlimited, a school for Special Needs individuals. One of her paintings was given to a California State Representative who hung it in her office and took it home with her after each session
